Our Institution

For the safety of all who enter, First National Bank of South Carolina Institutions are equipped with Interlocking Doors. Please allow patience as these doors operate with one person at a time. Remember to leave large bags, backpacks and/or equipment outside of the institution. Weapons are prohibited.

 

For our customers

  • Never share your online banking username, password, PIN or one=time passcodes.

  • We will never call, text, or email asking for your full password or secure access code.

  • Be cautious of unsolicited calls claiming to be from the bank.

  • Avoid clicking suspicious links in emails or text messages.

  • Monitor your account regularly with the FNBSC app and report unusual activity immediately.

  • Use strong, unique passwords and enable multi-factor authentication when available.

  • Keep your contact information updated with us.

Types of Fraud to Watch For

  • Phishing: Fake emails asking for personal information.

  • Vishing: Fraudulent phone calls pretending to be the bank.

  • Smishing: Scam text messages with malicious links.

  • Account Takeover: Unauthorized access to your online banking.

  • Check Fraud: Altered or stolen checks.

  2. Have your online banking password changed.

  3. Monitor your accounts closely.
